Organiser's Description

Following the huge success of the inaugural event in 2014, this ultra trail is set to become a classic. An 80k run over tough mountain trails incorporating 3 classic Lakeland peaks - Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Skiddaw. The course has been designed by Trail Running Champion and Salomon International Mountain Runner Ricky Lightfoot. From the boulder fields of Scafell Pike to the smooth grassy ridge running of the Dodds, the route combines all the elements of a classic Lakeland run with aspects of European style ultra running. The event will be will be part of the the Skyrunning UK 'Skyrunner® National Series'.
