BHF Iceland Bike Ride

Iceland

Sveitarfélagið Skagafjörður, Iceland

Wed 22nd July 2015

Organiser's Description

Iceland hosts some of Europe's greatest wilderness areas, home to active volcanoes, sheer cliffs, glaciers, thundering waterfalls, steaming lava fields, plunging fjords, boiling mud pools and spouting geysers. This tough, 5 day biking challenge will lead you through stunning and rugged terrain, in one of the most beautiful regions in Iceland, perfect for off-road riding. You will cycle past the volcanic Mount Heckla, and the ice-capped Katla. You will see hot springs, bubbling mud pots and giant cracks in the earth. There's even a chance for a dip in the Blue Lagoon before returning home.
