Organiser's Description

An 8-day expedition race weaving through 400km of the the Highlands of Scotland. The race route is based on the Cape Wrath Trail, considered to be the toughest long distance backpacking trail in the UK. Starting in Fort William, the race takes competitors on an incredible journey linking ancient footpaths and remote tracks, to the furthest northwesterly point of the British Isles, Cape Wrath. With towering mountains on one side and the crashing ocean on the other, the route travels through stunning scenery and remote wilderness with every step North. Winding through the beautiful lochs, glens and mountains of the Scottish Highlands, this is an expedition through some of the World's most inspirational landscapes. 20-27 May 2018.
