Organiser's Description

Back for a 3rd year - the 12/50 ultras: 50k or 50mile, 12 hour solo or 12 hour team events at the stunning lakeside venue in Beale Park, Pangbourne, near Reading. 6 hours of daylight and 6 hours of night running over a riverside, lakeside and woodland 5 mile loop. The route is flat but with very varied and mixed terrain: tarmac roads, tracks and trails. And new for 2016: a choice of 2 aquathlons - a 1000m swim in Beale Park lake followed by a 5k trail run, or a 500m swim followed by a 3k run; also 3 open water swimming races - a 2000m river/lake swim, a 1000m river/lake swim or a fun 500m lake swim. Free camping. 16/17 July.
