Organiser's Description

Europe’s leading 10k mass participation running event, televised live on BBC, returns to the streets of Manchester and this year will welcome the 300,000th runner across the finish line! The course takes in landmarks such as the Imperial War Museum and Old Trafford as it snakes out of the City and back. Part of a fantastic weekend for the whole family, including the Junior & Mini Great Manchester Run and the Great CityGames Manchester – an elite event that attracts some of the World's top athletes on a purpose-built track in the heart of the City centre.
