Hell's Hop SwimRun Scotland

Daliburgh, South Uist

A865, Isle of South Uist HS8, UK

Sat 10th September 2016

Organiser's Description

The sensational Scandinavian sport of Swimrun returns to Scotland for 2016. Hell's Hop will see you swimming a total of 8k across the Cound ofBarra. 13 incredible swim sections - a mix of both sea and tranquil freshwater lochs. The sea swims will be seriously adrenalin-charging, cold and wild. This is going to be a real adventure for all! 33k of running is split into 14 sections. You will encounter ancient machair (coastal vegetation unique to the Hebrides), sandy tracks, beach-running on golden sands, steep and rough island slopes, ruined castles, and an airport on the beach (really!) on your Hebridean adventure.
