Horton Winter Bull Run

Horton, Gloucestershire

Dairy Cottage, Horton Hill, Horton, Bristol BS37 6QN, UK

Sun 16th October 2016

Organiser's Description

Unlike the family-orientated Spring Run this event is aimed primarily at the more serious runner and is mainly off-road, with a steep climb to the brow of the Cotswold escarpment. More of this challenging terrain follows before runners find the ‘yellow brick road’ that cuts along the top of the escarpment to the safety of Pond Hill at Hawkesbury Upton. From here it is not quite downhill all the way back to HQ and a pint or a bacon sandwich.... All in all you will have completed 6 miles of pretty impressive and delightfully scenic terrain.
