Ironman 70.3 UK Exmoor

Wimbleball, Somerset

1 Higher Cowlings, Brompton Regis, Dulverton TA22 9NU, UK

Sun 25th June 2017

Organiser's Description

The very first 70.3 race to ever exist, this Exmoor event has now taken on an iconic status and fills to capacity each and every year as its reputation as being the ‘toughest 70.3 in the World' (according to Macca!) grows and grows. Held in Exmoor National Park, one of the most picturesque areas of England, the reputation of the event has been set by its rural location and the challenges of the bike course. The swim is one lap of Wimbleball Lake; the bike course is tough, following a loop through hilly Somerset terrain; the run at Wimbleball Lake is a 3 loop course on a mix of terrain, with one short sharp climb - which is tackled 3 times.
