Jennings Rivers Ride

Cockermouth, Cumbria

5 Crown St, Cockermouth CA13 0EH, UK

Sun 2nd October 2016

Organiser's Description

The Jennings Rivers Ride reveals some of the UK's finest scenery and cycling terrain, from the heart of the Lake District all the way out to the Irish Sea. Sections follow the affected river courses and criss-cross over many of the bridges that were badly damaged, or destroyed and replaced, during the floods of 2009 and 2015. This is the 5th edition of the ride, which has been refreshed to offer riders a new challenge! This year it will start and finish in Cockermouth, with 4 new routes suitable for riders of all abilities - from families and occasional riders through to seasoned sportive addicts looking to test their mettle against an epic Lake District ride.
