London to Nice Cycle

London

57 Trafalgar Square, London WC2N 5DU, UK

Wed 31st August 2016

Organiser's Description

Setting off from London, we pass through Kent, cross the Channel and on to Paris. The landscape is dotted with small medieval towns, sleepy villages, and rolling hills, providing the perfect preparation for the hair-pin bends of the Col de la Faucille - a climb in the Jura mountains that has featured many times in the Tour de France. A wonderful descent into Switzerland, then through the Alps to Provence. Riding through this magnificent landscape, with its towering mountains, spectacular limestone cliffs and gorges, dense forests and lavender fields, motivates us to keep pedalling! Our unforgettable ride ends with a fabulous descent into Nice.
