Lord Of The Isles Challenge

Islay, Argyll

Unnamed Road, Isle of Islay PA44 7PZ, UK

Sat 19th September 2015

Organiser's Description

Have you ever wanted to step out of the box and do something crazy, cross something off that bucket list and feel good about it? Well, here’s your chance. Compete in the Lords of the Isles Challenge, a dual competition which involves playing a golf tournament and running a marathon on one of Scotland’s most picturesque, remote, mysterious islands, and certainly its most historic, with ancient standing stones, Celtic crosses, stone age forts, chapels of the Irish sailor-monks, a laird's baronial manor house, and ruins of the castles of the lords of the isles. Golf competition 19 September, Marathon 20 September.
