Matlock Top 10

Matlock, Derbyshire

31-33 Causeway Ln, Matlock DE4 3AR, UK

Sat 22nd October 2016

Organiser's Description

Tackle the famous hill climbs in the Matlock/Derwent Valley area. Short but tough. Matlock and the surrounding area is steeped with road biking hill climb history: Bank Road, Riber Road and Rowsley Bar to name just 3 of the ‘infamous’ ascents. The Matlock Top 10 celebrates the richness of the area's 20% plus gradient hill climbs by creating a route that ascends 10 of them in just 61.5km/38 miles. That’s 1750m of ascent - 5741ft in old money. For those looking for a slightly less extreme challenge, the Top 4 option is 31.8k/19.76miles based around the same route but with just 4 of the 10 climbs.
