Men's 10k - Glasgow

Glasgow, Scotland

Riverside Museum Pier, Glasgow G3 8QE, UK

Sun 19th June 2016

Organiser's Description

The first Men’s 10k took place in Glasgow 9 years ago to raise awareness of men’s health issues; it has now positively touched the lives of over 30,000 men and is a major event on both the running and health event calendars, attracting 4,000 men and growing each year! The Glasgow event takes place on Fathers' Day and starts at the spectacular Riverside Transport Museum, then heads East along the River Clyde, taking in scenic views, Glasgow's iconic buildings, and finishing on Glasgow Green where cheering crowds await.

Good course through Glasgow along the river with lots of sights but could do with avoiding the Central Bridge section on Argyle Street (Heilanman's Umbrella) as it reeks of smokers.

Fun event. Not 5 stars as the course was over 10KM long and made me miss my finish time of under an hour :(
