Moffat Gala Festival of Running

Moffat, Dumfries & Galloway

Cafe Ariete, 10 High St, Moffat DG10 9HF, UK

Tue 14th July 2015

Organiser's Description

A scenic road/hill 15k race is the key feature of the town’s annual Gala Week, and the premier race in the Moffat Gala Festival of Running. The first 3.75 miles undulates with a subtle but gradual rise of 350 feet. This is followed by the most challenging part of the route - just under one mile of steep track rising 550 feet, which is stony and uneven in places. After reaching the top, there's a spectacular 4.6 mile downhill descent back into Moffat town centre. Also 5k and 2k junior races. From Moffat Town Hall.
