Superb event - 2 laps starting in a beautiful park. Some road sections adjoining the park and then back to park paths. Always a sell-out when I’ve run so book your place early.

Course very muddy & short. Due to heavy rain the night before the park was water-logged so there was a last minute change in route but this wasn't very well communicated until the start if the race half an hour late. The new route was mostly on paths with lots of puddles which was fine but at one point we had to run through a grassy area that was so muddy my shoes came off 3 times. Finally the new route was 700 meters short when we got to the finish line and I didn't get my t-shirt until I emailed the following day. Not their fault that the rains came at all but the organisation of the alterations could have been much better (particularly when the chap kept telling us we had to do 5 circuits when what he actually meant was it was an 'out and back' so we were all very confused)

A bit on the muddy side. Re-arranged course due to the muddy conditions. Instructions at the start could have been MUCH clearer – I thought we had to do five LAPS/LOOPS, instead of five LENGTHS. ☹
