Open5 Adventure Races - South Pennines

Todmorden, Lancashire

19 Ewood Ln, Todmorden OL14 7DF, UK

Sun 10th April 2016

Organiser's Description

Mountain biking, running, navigation and adventure! Branded as "Pretty Gritty" the upper Calder Valley combines the beauty of the Southern Pennines with its industrial past. Calderdale has one of the highest densities of footpaths and bridleways in the country - over 3000 miles to choose from. The event starts in Todmorden which used to be the border town between Yorkshire and Lancashire. Visit as many controls as you can by bike and on foot within a 5 hour time limit. You can either run or bike first, it's up to you - as long as you collect at least one bike control and one run control.
