A thrilling traffic-free duathlon around the famous Oulton Park race track. Whether as an early season warm-up, or testing out your bike fitness, this is a great event to start the multi-sport year.
With Sprint, Standard and Middle distance offerings, this multi lap bike course allows you to check your pacing and splits throughout.
Using the Iconic venue of Oulton Park we are delighted to be hosting the British Standard Distance Championships.

Course Details
As you can see the course is not flat but gives a good experience of hills and nice downhills, clean air and no cars to deal with along with being able to use the full width of the International track.

The Sprint event consists of:
Run 1 lap (4.3km, International)
Cycle 5 laps (21km)
Run 1 lap (4.3km, International)
The Standard Distance event consists of:
Run 2 laps (8.6km, International)
Cycle 9 laps (38km)
Run 1 lap (4.3km, (International)
The Middle Distance event consists of:
Run 2 Laps (8.6 km International)
Cycle 14 laps (60.3km)
Run 2 lap (8.6km, International)
The Run
Keep to the right as you take on the track, covering the full 4.3km loop of the track and ensuring you keep plenty in the legs for the uphill drag about 20 minutes in and the fast paced run into transition.
The Bike
Hard out on the bike for the initial downhill and go crazy round the back straights trying to maintain your pace. You will not find a smoother surface for miles around and a chance to test out your skills in both draft legal and non-drafting racing.
The Run
Hopefully you will have left plenty in the legs for the last run around the track to make the duathlon.
