Run in the Dark - Manchester

Salford Quays, Manchester

The Greenhouse, 74 Broadway, Salford M50 2EQ, UK

Wed 15th November 2017

Organiser's Description

As darkness sweeps around the globe on 15 November, thousands will pull on their running shoes and red flashing armbands and head for the door. In over 50 cities worldwide, they will be part of a living light show, supporting the Mark Pollock Trust, working to find a cure for paralysis. Join us in one of 5 UK locations - Dublin, Cork, Belfast, London and Manchester - or pop-up events in cities worldwide. In 2010 athlete Mark broke his back and was left paralysed. 12 years earlier, he had lost his sight. As Mark strives to walk again, his most complex journey is ahead of him - to find a cure for spinal cord injuries for him and the millions of paralysed people around the World.
