Organiser's Description
The SBU35 is 'as tough as you want it', a largely off-road, 36 mile (approx) ultra trail race. It follows a point to point route from the heart of the Lake District, on the shores of Bass Lake near Keswick, to the West coast village of St Bees. Between these two points, lay 36 miles of some of the most beautiful country the Lake District has to offer. Everything about this event has been carefully considered to support new entrants, giving them a true appreciation of what ultra running is all about, whilst still giving experienced competitors the opportunity to show the rest of us what they can do!
