Organiser's Description
This is a unique event, featuring Dartmoor's only off-road marathon. Starting and finishing at the Festival site at Huccaby Farm, Princetown, near Yelverton, the Marathon crosses the fulcrum of Dartmoor, where East and West Rivers meet at Dartmeet, completes a circuit of Bellever Woods, then heads East, crossing the River for a second time following a bone jarring descent. On into Holne and Hembury Woods, then a steep climb up Pupers Hill. A long, gradual descent to Combstone Tor and a final crossing of the River, takes you back to the sanctuary and bustle of the festival site. Marathon relay option, also half marathon. 10k event on the Sunday.
