The 10k Marmalade Run

Penrith, Lake District

Deer Park Cottage, Dalemain, Penrith CA11 0HB, UK

Sun 28th February 2016

Organiser's Description

A 10k trail run based around the Dalemain Estate, near Ullswater in the Lake District. Consisting of two different loops in a 'figure of 8', the run starts with a gentle but lengthy climb over the Estate fields, then a steady descent towards the small village of Dacre, over the river and towards the start of loop 2. You will then meander through the Estate's lower fields and through Dacre, before returning back to the finish line. Mainly grassy fields with a few stiles thrown in. You will definitely spot a lot of sheep and, if you’re lucky, there are some very beautiful deer out there too
