The Classic Challenge - Glasgow to Edinburgh

Glasgow

The Wise Group, 72 Charlotte St, Glasgow G1 5DW, UK

Sun 6th September 2015

Organiser's Description

The classic Pedal for Scotland ride, The Challenge, is now in its 17th year. The 50 mile Glasgow to Edinburgh road ride attracted over 7,500 participants last year. Its huge popularity is due to the combination of a great route that uses a mixture of closed roads, quiet back roads and cycle paths, taking in Scotland’s two largest cities via stunning countryside - the perfect challenge for both regular riders and those who haven’t cycled in a while. The ride starts from Glasgow Green Park in the East end of Glasgow, on the North bank of the River Clyde, with the finish line at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. Team Challenge event for companies also available.
