Organiser's Description
A choice of two beautiful road runs around England's most scenic valleys, but with a reputation as being amongst the toughest road events in the UK! Exceptionally hilly with some of the course climbs being 1:3. Road races in the beautiful Langdale Valley have been run for nearly 30 years and in that time many thousands of runners of all standards have enjoyed the stunning location. The Marathon and Half Marathon enjoy a hilly course with the notable challenge of Blea Tarn, well worth the effort for the view of the tarn and surrounding hills from the top of the climb; marathon runners get to enjoy it twice!
