The Highlander - Escape the Redcoats

Organiser's Description

A duathlon which starts and finishes at the Highland Folk Museum, Newtonmore. Entrants will follow a figure of eight cycle course on a combination of rural roads and paved cycle paths, and a run through Glen Banchor, following the River Calder. This is a unique opportunity to take part in an event set in the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands. The route will take you through the stunning Badenoch Valley within the Cairngorms National Park. The run section has access to two Highland estates, allowing competitors the opportunity to race where no competitor has raced before!
