Wensleydale Half Cheese Triathlon

Date & Location

Hawes, North Yorkshire

Organiser’s Description

This is the race that started it all. One of the toughest of all UK triathlons, Wensleydale is the re-working of one of the oldest triathlons in the country – the Yorkshire Dales Triathlon. Here you have the opportunity to tackle half of the route and maybe you’ll return next year to complete the full! You can take a look at the start and swim in Semer Water to test out this fantastic spot before the event. The swim is the only flat bit – a hilly road bike leg is followed by an equally hilly run. Each finisher gets a unique memento…cheese. Full Cheese event on the same day.
