Wally Would be Proud.... Having watched my partner run her first ever race just two months ago, all I wanted to do was put on my trainers and join her in completing my first race too. And what better cause than running for the National Literacy Trust, which brought together hundreds of Wally's for what was a wonderful Sunday morning. Not letting the negativity of the virus get us down, we all showed up and ran our costumes off in the name of literacy! I had so much fun, it will be a race I'll never forget :)

A Genuinely 'Fun' Run. This is only my second official race, and my first fun run, so I wasn't 100% what exactly I should be expecting. Instead I turned up on the day and was instantly greeted by a sea of Wally's, which put the biggest smile on my face. The course a smooth 5k with so many friendly stewards dotted about and cheering you on, but has a hint of a challenge with the occasional incline (which I did not train for. Whoops). I would 150% recommend this race for folks at any level. Whether you walk or run this race, it's sure to leave you with a smile.
