Wildcat 5k Swim

Matlock Bath, Derbyshire

Royal Bank Buildings, Temple Walk, Matlock DE4 3PG, UK

Sun 19th June 2016

Organiser's Description

This 5k open water swim in the River Derwent, from Derwent Gardens, Matlock Bath, will be held over a 250m course, down one side and up the other. The current is virtually imperceptible and the water quality is graded A by the Environment Agency. It's very safe, with access from both banks most of the way, and fantastic for spectators who can follow the entire race closely. 10 laps sounds a lot, but so does 200 lengths of a pool!
