Charity run fundraising tips

Choosing to run for cause means you’ll want to raise as much as you can for your chosen charity. Here are some top tips on maximising your efforts

  • Don’t leave it too late! Set up your fundraising page as soon as you’re signed up and get people to donate at different stages of your training journey

  • Get social - Embrace social media during your fundraising. You never know which Facebook friend from 10 years ago might be firm supporters of your charity and will want to help you on your way

  • Set a good target - Setting a reasonably high, but achievable target will help you to raise more money in donations. If your kind donators see you’re only touching distance away from your goal, they’re more likely to dig deep and help you get there.
