Terrace Road, Aberystwyth SY23 2ND, UK

Sun 16th October 2016

Organiser's Description

This 6+ mile race folows a variety of surfaces and offers something for all runners to get their teeth into. Starting on Aberystwyth promenade, the route circles the harbour before taking on the first hill challenge. The climb up Pen Dinas is on grass track, with outstanding views along the Ystwyth Valley, to the Monument at about 450ft, then the descent to the road. Runner's then face the second challenge. The rocky path up Constitution Hill crosses back and forth over the cliff railway, reaching just over 450ft before joining a tarmac road for the fast final descent to the promenade and a sprint finish.
