Organiser's Description
“Simply stunning” were the words used to describe the venue at which this 2020 ITU Standard Distance Qualifier is being hosted - in the heart of Cambridgeshire, near the ancient Village of Buckden & St.Neots.
The start, the swim, much of the run and the finish are all conveniently located together at Grafham Water Reservoir, making excellent spectator viewing at Grafham Water Reservoir. The swim takes place in the lake; the bike course is fast but open, so if it’s windy make sure you’ve got your bike legs on; the one lap run course takes you across the dam, then back into Grafham village, and before you know it you’ll be on and your way back and on the finishing straight, located a stone’s throw from transition.
