Organiser's Description
It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced triathlete, or this is your very first attempt at swim-bike-run… this is an ideal event for you!
This is an opportunity to race in one of only a handful of indoor 50m pools in the country before completing the bike on the beautifully rolling country roads to the North of Oundle and finishing with a run round the grounds of the exclusive Oundle School.
Every participant will be individually chip-timed whilst tackling their choice of the following distances :
Supersprint: 400m swim – 13km bike – 2.6km run
Sprint: 600m swim – 25km bike – 5.3km run
The transition is on a grass playing field, the bike will be on the open roads and the run will be around the beautiful playing fields.

Course Details
The swim will be a ‘snake swim’ in a 50m pool, with the fastest swimmers starting first and a short gap between starters. Each competitor’s timing will not start until they commence their swim. More accurate start times will be included in the final race info.
You will be asked on the entry form to predict your swim time (600m or 400m depending upon the event you have entered). This is to ensure that you are seeded in the correct position in the swim. Its not much fun to be held up by lots of swimmers in front, nor being constantly caught from behind, so please try to be as accurate as possible in your prediction.
The transition will be on the grass.
The bike will be a one-lap course of 13km for the Supersprint and a two-lap course of 25km for the Sprint
The run will complete 2.6km laps around the playing fields – one lap for the Supersprint, two for the Sprint. Spikes are not allowed.
The event will finish on the playing fields where all finishers will receive their medals, water and goodies.
