Awdry 60

Rodborough, Gloucestershire

Organiser's Description

A 62k cycling event starting from Rodborough, near Stroud. A gentle introduction to Cotswold cycling. Plenty of quiet lanes, pretty villages, hidden valleys and stunning views, and whilst hills are unavoidable here, these have been kept to a minimum. The event is named for the Reverend Wilbert Awdry, of Rodborough, author of the Thomas the Tank Engine books, who ‘was daily seen riding his bicycle up the steep Rodborough Hill'.
