Barnstaple Marathon & Half Marathon

Barnstaple, Devon

7 Seven Brethren Bank, Sticklepath, Barnstaple EX31 2AS, UK

Sun 24th September 2017

Organiser's Description

Following the success of this event in 2016, it returns, bigger and better, for 2017. We have made several changes for 2017, to offer a better experience for all runners. This race has rapidly established itself as one of the South West's premier running events. With a flat, fast course, a large (but not too large!) field and loads of support, it is a perfect marathon for both first timers and experienced runners. Starting and finishing from Rock Park, Barnstaple, the race is predominatly off-road on a flat, tarmac, wide footpath; the half marathon is traffic free, the marathon has one stretch on the road, which is mainly pavement.
