Organiser's Description
ATW are excited to announce the return of the Bedfordshire Triathlon at Priory Country Park. The stunning 300-acre, award winning park is home to several lakes, diverse ecosystems and woodland.
The event will host Sprint and Standard distance races beginning with a swim in the magnificent main lake. The bike course navigates through Priory Business Park, before embarking on either one or two laps on quiet country roads, including views of the historic Cardington Airship Hangars.
This is followed by either a 5km or 10km run on traffic free tarmac paths, passing through the park and alongside landmarks such as the Great River Ouse and the Butterfly Bridge

Course Details
The race starts and finishes in the same location at Priory Lake/Country Park. The course is fast, flat and has great PB potential.
Swim: Lake swim within the beautiful Priory Park Lake round a 750m lap. Sprint 1 lap, Standard 2 laps
Bike: Flat/Gently undulating bike course largely on quiet country roads. Sprint 1 lap, Standard 2 laps
Run: Flat and fast course on tarmac. Traffic free other than one marshalled car park crossing. Both the Sprint and Standard use the same 2.5km course. Sprint: 2 laps totalling 5km. Standard: 4 laps totalling 10km

Race numbers can be collected at the the event venue either the day before, between 2pm and 5pm or on the morning of the race from 05:30am
The day license for Non-BTF members is included in the entry price.
There will be an online race briefing made available before the event, it is mandatory to have watched this as there will be no pre-race briefing on the day.
Please arrive in sufficient time to collect your race number.

Health
It is important that you are fit to run and have not experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the days leading up to the event.
Race Numbers
Please wear your number pinned to the front and back of your top or alternatively, using a race belt, rotate the race number to the back for the bike leg and the front for the run leg.
Parking
Free parking is available at several locations around Priory Country Park, Additional parking is available within the business park (closer to the race start). MK44 3WG
Changing Facilities
We will not be providing a changing area, therefore please come changed and ready to race.
Baggage Drop
There will be an informal baggage drop area for you to leave any belongings within the transition area.
Toilets
There will be toilets available.
Water Station
There will be a water station on the run route (you will need to carry any liquids you need on the bike). There will be water available, self-service style, at the finish.
Dogs & Buggies
No dogs and buggies allowed.
