Race Categories

The Blenheim Palace Triathlon consists of two race categories; super sprint and sprint.

The Super Sprint race consists of a 400m swim, 13.2km bike ride, and a 2.9km run.

The Sprint race consists of a 750m swim, 19.8km bike ride, and a 5.4km run.

If you are not comfortable completing a full triathlon you can compete in a sprint relay which consist of three people completing a single leg of the race to make up an entire triathlon; for example one person carries out the swim, another the cycle and finally the third person completes the run.

Bloodwise Vs General Entry Tickets

You can raise money for Bloodwise, our Title Sponsor and Official Charity Partner to assist the fantastic work they do to fight blood cancer. You can sign up with a ‘Bloodwise Charity Place’ which means you agree to raise a minimum amount of £350. Please note, if this is not met you may lose your place in the race.

If you prefer you can register through the general entry places and still agree to raise money for Bloodwise, however, you have no obligation to meet a minimum target.

General entry places have no fixed fundraising target affiliated with them and you are under no obligation to fundraise should you chose this entry option.

Excellent event.. Competed last year in Sunday general mixed, it was very well organised. The transition area was snug but it is a busy event. Swim was good plenty of room for different levels of swimmer. The cycle course is closed road and provided some tight sections to keep you sharp while riding! Run course reasonability flat. The back drop provided some great photos. General set up was excellent.
