Back in 2007 the ASICS Windermere Marathon incorporated a 10 marathons in 10 days endurance event. 13 years later the event - 262 miles over 10 days - is known as one of the UK's toughest running events. The route is a 26.2 mile anti-clockwise circuit of Windermere, taking in Hawkshead, Newby Bridge, Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside along the way. Brathay Hall provides a stunning event centre and, according to runners, the most memorable marathon finish line experience anywhere.
This event has been rescheduled from 8th May due to ongoing concerns regarding Coronavirus.
