BUBBLE RUSH - Northampton
Bubble Rush is the UK's foamiest fun run!
Bubble Rush is a 5k fun run with a difference - lots of coloured bubbles! You'll start in a sea of foam and around the course are four bubble stations, where foam canons will be pumping out masses of bubbles to create an incredi-bubble 4ft deep coloured bubble bath! It's a 2 lap course, so you'll go through each bubble station twice for double the bubbles!
Everyone's welcome at Bubble Rush! Don't worry if you're not a runner - the event isn’t timed so you’re not racing against anyone and there's no time limit. Run, walk, toddle or dance your way around the family-friendly course. The course is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and there's no minimum or maximum age limit, so everyone can take part.
BUBBLE RUSH: MEASURES WE ARE TAKING TO MAKE YOUR EVENT COVID-SAFE IN 2021
The health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers is our number one priority. We will follow the latest national and local Government and events industry guidance and procedures to ensure the risk to everyone involved in Bubble Rush is minimised. As and when local and/or national guidance is updated we will adapt our information and practices accordingly.
As the entire Bubble Rush event takes place outside the risk of transmission is low, but we ask everyone to be aware of, and follow, the current national and local guidance when travelling to and from the event, and whilst taking part.
Stay informed: We will post updates on our website and on social media. Please ‘like’ our Facebook page and the specific events page so that you get the latest updates and information about the event straight to your timeline.
Event information: We will send all event updates and information by email. Please make sure you notify us if you contact details change and check your email settings so that our messages don’t end up in your Junk or Spam folders.
AT THE EVENT
Don’t bring your symptoms!
Please do not come to the event if you, or someone in your household, has displayed any of the COVID systems in the 14 days before the event.
• A high temperature (over 380C)
• A new, continuous cough
• A loss of, or change to, sense of taste and/or smell
If you become unwell at the event please report to the First Aid team
If you, or anyone you attend with, tests positive for COVID after the event please notify us and follow the guidance of NHS Test & Trace.
Contact information you provide when you sign up for the event will be used for track and trace if required.
Respect: Life has changed a lot recently, and so has the way we have to run events. Please respect event staff and other participants. We want everyone involved in Bubble Rush to have a great experience and enjoy the bubbles safely.
Registration: It will not be possible to sign up for the event on the day.
Merchandise: You will be able to buy Bubble Rush merchandise from our online webshop before the event.
T-shirts and race numbers: Will need to be collected before the event. Information about t-shirt collection will be provided nearer to the event date.
Staff will be in PPE wearing face coverings and gloves and will be issued with hand sanitiser. Please follow any instructions given by the event staff, they will be doing it for your safety. Please treat our staff and volunteers with respect.
Hands!: Hand sanitiser stations will be located throughout the event village, on the course and at the finish area. We suggest you also bring your own supply.
Face!: Although outdoor events are low risk for the transmission of the virus, we recommend that you wear a face covering in the start and finish area and when you are in the bubble stations.
Space!: Please follow the current guidance on social distancing. Current guidance is that you should stay in your household / support bubble (maximum 6 per group) throughout the event.
Queues: We will plan the event to minimise queues and congestion. Please help us by following signs, any one-way systems and instructions from event staff.
Cleaning: Our staff will be regularly cleaning surfaces around the event. Operators of toilets, catering and stall holders will be responsible for organising queuing and cleaning for their operation.
Transactions: All purchases at the event will be by card or contactless
ON THE COURSE
Spectators: In order to reduce congestion we ask that only people registered to take part in the event go into the event village. Spectators are welcome around the course, but must observe social distancing and the rule of 6. Please stay in your household group / support bubble throughout your time on the course. Keep a 1m+ distance from other bubblers. Please follow the instructions of the course marshals and other event staff.
In the bubbles: To avoid congestion and assist with social distancing our staff will monitor the number of people going through the bubbles. To ensure everyone can enjoy the foam please don’t go through each station more than once.
Under 16s: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. One adult can accompany two children. We advise parents to hold their child’s hand through the bubbles.
At the finish: Medals will be laid out on tables in finish area. Please maintain social distancing as you are queuing to pick up your medal. To help us maintain social distancing please don’t congregate in groups in the area around the finish line
A Bubble Rush t-shirt is included in the price and every finisher gets a medal!
Bubble Rush is perfect for families and groups of all ages and abilities.

The course is two laps of 2.5km
Children under the age of 3 can take part free of charge but won't receive a t-shirt or medal.
Under 16s must be accompanied around the course by a paying, participating adult. One adult can accompany a maximum of 3 children.
Every Bubble Rush event has a nominated charity partner. We ask everyone signing up for an event to show their support if they can, by making a donation or including some fundraising as part of their preparation for the event.
Once you have signed up, you will receive more information about how you can support the work of the event charity.
Health and safety is our number one priority, and in 2021 it’s never been more important.
