Canalathon

Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire

Sowerby Bridge Cricket Club, Walton Street, Sowerby Bridge, UK

Sun 29th March 2020

Organiser's Description

Racing ultra distances across mountains, hills and fells is great for the soul, but the opportunity to record fast, flat, ultra miles is not often achievable. For this reason we created... Canalathon! Choose your poison: 50k or 50 miles. No navigation needed, no hill climbing necessary, simple races from point A to B along the canals of Lancashire and West Yorkshire. The Classic Canalathon 50k race is back for 2020, starting in Manchester and finishing at our Race HQ at the Sowerby Bridge Cricket Club, and new for 2020 we have a 50 mile out and back race which starts and finishes in Sowerby Bridge.
