Chester Racecourse, Chester, UK

Sun 8th March 2020

Organiser's Description

This is Chester's only city-based 10k - catering for the needs of runners of all abilities and speeds.

We’ve changed the start and finish locations of the Aldi Chester 10K and introduced a two wave start (Orange Wave & Blue Wave) to give runners the best experience on race day.

The new fast course starts from the iconic Chester Racecourse and heads north-west out of the City along wide roads allowing runners to rapidly settle into race pace, then passing through the picturesque village of Mollington, before returning to the heart of Chester City centre passing the historic Victorian town hall and Medieval Cathedral, before finishing on Eastgate Street with a spectacular backdrop of the Eastgate Clock.

Chester 10km. I ran this on Sunday, great race an very well organised. Great communication from organisers an even paced training runs for you to join in if you wish. Very friendly and supportive marshalling. Only downside was they didn't have my size in the completion tee shirt. Will be entering next year without doubt.
