Children with Cancer - Virtual Challenge

United Kingdom

Thu 4th February 2021

Organiser's Description

Thursday 4th February 2021 marks World Cancer Day.

To raise awareness for this day a team in Luton have created the “Children with Cancer UK – Virtual Challenge”

All you have to do is pick a challenge and you end up with a beautifully-designed, well-crafted medal in support of Children with Cancer UK.

There is a ringing bell as part of the medal which signifies the bell that is rung when a child completes their treatment.

The challenge will cost £25 with 100% of ENTIRE ENTRY FEE being donated to Children with Cancer UK.

You can choose one of the following virtual challenges

Walk/Jog/Run [Mini Mile, 5k, 10k Half Marathon]
Cycle [10, 25, 50 Miles]

We recommend that the challenge you have picked should be completed the week commencing 1st February 2021 to coincide with the week World Cancer Day falls on. If your diary does not allow that, you are more than welcome to complete the challenge another time.

There is an option for you to receive a medal for free!

If you sign up for the free medal option, a JustGiving Page will be created for you with a commitment to raising at least £50 for Children with Cancer UK. In February, if your page has reached the committed target, a medal will be sent out to you.

Whether you choose the challenge to walk, jog, run or cycle or choose to fundraise instead, let's do this with a big smile on our faces and raise as much money as possible for Children with Cancer UK!
