Chisinau International Marathon

All participants will receive a starter pack, which will include the personal bib number, a disposable timing chip, a commemorative T-shirt and the route maps with the detailed schedule of the event.

Feeding stations will be available at different points along the race course, where athletes can eat, drink, cool themselves with wet sponges, use the facilities, and if necessary, get medical assistance.

At the finish line all participants will get commemorative medals; the winners will also receive valuable prizes.

The Start/Finish area and Expo are located on the Great National Assembly Square (Piața Marii Adunări Naționale, PMAN), in front of the Arc de Triomphe. After the start of the race athletes will run along Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, Ciuflea Street, Dacia Boulevard, to the intersection with Rose Street, then back along Dacia Boulevard, Ciuflea Street, Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, to the Great National Assembly Square, then continue along Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, to the intersection with Toma Ciorba Street and then back along Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, to the Great National Assembly Square.

- On the distance of 1.5 km, wheelchair sportsmen will have the opportunity to participate independently or accompanied by a pusher volunteer (if the participant needs additional help).

- On the distances of 10 km, 21 km and 42 km, wheelchair sportsmen will have the chance to benefit from partial assistance of a pusher volunteer or compete independently.
