Organiser's Description
Alongside the regular Cotswold226 taking place on the 17th of July will be the new 226 Wknd events
Saturday PM will feature a timed and fully supported 3.8km Swim on the 226 Course
Sunday will feature a 90 or 180km Tri Rules Cylo sportive on the 226 course alongside the 226 competitors themselves. Unlike traditional sportives, this will be fully tri rules, so no drafting, and will be fuly suported with Moto Refs, Moto support, Fully stocked aid stations, closed sections of road, and Police.
We're concious that many athletes like to do a sportive as training for a later season IM race, but are put off by the pack riding, and the general non acceptance of triathletes turning up on TT bikes with aero helmets and tri suits wanting to ride alone for the duration.
