Organiser's Description
Cowman is our flagship event and has been going since 2003. The event offers 3 distances: Cowman which is a half distance triathlon, Calfman, which is half of Cowman, and Stampede... you guessed it, half of Calfman. 2019 will see a cow ranch theme meet the beautiful location of Emberton Country Park, so there will be cowhands rather than marshals, brand plates instead of medals, and other surprises along the way. Triathlon teams are welcome, and last year saw many more teams join our event for an exciting day of racing and spectating, chilling under marquees, and enjoying BBQs!
The race kicks off at the Emberton Sailing Club with a swim in the lake, before heading out from Olney, visiting Yardley Hastings, Denton, Horton, Stoke Goldington and Newport Pagnell. The run course is around the lake, featuring both on and off-road sections.
