Dartmoor Trail Running Challenge

Hollwell Down, Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Dartmoor

Hollwell Down, Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Dartmoor

Sat 2nd February 2019

Organiser's Description

Set in the heart of Dartmoor you are straight onto the trails with this event. Dartmoor in February can be a tough area to be, along with routes taking in some tough, challenging hills and full speed descents.

Four distances on offer - ultra, half and full marathon and 12k - all starting and finishing at the main field at Holwell Down and heading over towards Hound Tor and Haytor Downs. Whilst the 12k loops around great Hound Tor and back to the finish, the marathon will carry on to Challacombe Tor before heading back to Widecombe-in-the-Moor and up to the finish line. The ultra runners will be head on down towards Corndon Tor, which is quite a trip.
