You'll feel amazing energy from your fellow runners as you make your way around the Water towards a glorious home straight, where we'll be waiting with a finishers' medal, goody bag and a souvenir item of training kit - anything from a technical t-shirt to cold weather headgear.

What's Included
Timing: Chip-timed.
Bag Drop: Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, you can leave your belongings with us while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number.
Toilets: There are free toilets in the Visitor Centre for use throughout the event.
Race Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course throughout the race.
Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and Km/Mile markers where necessary.
Water Stations: There will be water stations on the route at the finish and the mid-lap point, at which water will be provided in recyclable plastic cups.
Goody Bag: All runners will receive a goody bag on finishing the race.
Course Details
The course starts a short walk from the race village, beginning on the upper pathway and heading north for approximately 1km before turning back onto the lower perimeter road. It then continues back to the race village for approximately 1.5km followed by one complete clockwise lap of the reservoir. The race, predominantly on tarmac pathway but including loose gravel in places, is suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.
