Ekiden Marathon Relay

Woodbridge, Suffolk

Staff House Woodbridge School, Burkitt Rd, Woodbridge IP12 4JH, UK

Sun 12th July 2015

Organiser's Description

Ekiden originated in Japan and is basically a long distance race run as a relay. The Ekiden Marathon Relay has six legs: leg one 7.2k, legs two, four and six 5k and legs three and five 10k. Ipswich JAFFA RC has been staging this event, the only Ekiden held in the UK, for over 20 years; it is now a well established fixture in the local racing calendar and has proved to be a super club day out and completely inclusive of all abilities. The race will take place in the grounds of Woodbridge School, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
