Falmouth Triathlon - The Seal

Falmouth, Cornwall

Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth, UK

Sun 13th September 2020

Organiser's Description

Gylly’s sheltered bay, with its golden sands and shallow, turquoise water, is the perfect setup for open water Tri novices and experienced mermaids alike.

Enjoy the calm waters of Cornwall’s swimming hotspot, the blue flag rated Gyllyngvase Beach, and panoramic views over the Lizard Peninsula from Henry VIII’s Pendennis Castle. Watch out for seals off-shore on the stunning coastal bike and run course around Pendennis Point!

Junior competitors will also take a dip in the sea from Falmouth's sheltered Gylly Beach, and enjoy a fully closed road circuit on the bike and run legs overlooking the beach. And our youngest participants will be unleashed on a fun, non timed scootathlon course, a real highlight for aspiring triathletes!
