Feet Of Endurance

The Feet of Endurance is a 6hr trail tunning adventure for Teams of 6 or 4, Pairs and Solos, the entire event takes place in the stunning grounds of Pippingford Park in East Sussex
The purpose designed trail course is approximately 7km and will be yours for 6 hours so all you have to do is pick your challenge…
Anyone can take part, regardless of your running ability and experience. Being able to run an ‘Ultra’ is cool, very cool, but only a tiny percentage of the running community can do it, so while there is a Solo category for these super men and women the Feet Of Endurance isn’t all about them.
If you’re like the majority of us and sit somewhere nearer the opposite end of the endurance spectrum, you enjoy your local ‘Parkrun’ or heading out for a casual run with your friends in the woods then just rope in a few comrades and enter as a team of 4 or 6. As long as each of you complete the required one lap each you can complete as many as you like… And if it all becomes too much just chill out in amazing surrounds with nice people.
If you fancy pushing yourself a bit further but a solo is just a little much this year, call on a partner and head for the pairs category… Pairs racing is a great bonding experience, as long as you’re there for the change over and don’t make your partner head out for an extra lap, it seems that “oh I was just having a wee” isn’t a great excuse!!

Pippingford Park, Ashdown Forest, TN22 3HW
Approximately 7km of trail running gold.
The course is purpose designed for the TrailX Feet Of Endurance, it’s entirely off road making the most of Pippingford Park’s acres of woodland trails. There’ll be plenty to keep you on your toes, we’ll have you going up, coming down, twisting, turning and or course there’ll be loads of chilled out section where you just run.
The route is a mix of woodland tracks, flowing single trails, open moorland, fast gravel estate roads and lakeside paths.
If you’re over 16 on the 5th September, have a love for trail running and a sense of adventure then come and join us. Check out the information on this page, rope in some friends or clubmates if you need toand get entering.
There must be at least one Female member in each mixed team of 4
There must be at least two Female members in each mixed team of 6
All runners must go to the registration to ‘sign on’. Race numbers will also be issued from registration
Please note that your race number is unique to you so please do not swap it with a team mate. It has your timing chip attached to it so do not cut or ‘customise’ it in anyway so that the chip does not get damaged. We rely heavily on the chips to generate the results!
All runners must attend the event briefing in the arena before the start
It is a mass start event and will not be seeded so please place yourself at the start line in a position according to how fast you plan to run the lap
Members or Team and Pairs can only swap over with a team mate in the corral area in the arena
Solo runners can leave the course in one of 2 places, either at the corral area or at the solo camping area but they must re-join the course at the same place
Solo runners are free to stop and start as they need to but must complete at least 1 lap to appear in the results
Teams and Pairs are free to stop and start as they want/need to but all members must complete at least one lap for the Team or Pair to show a result
This is a ‘long 6 hour’ event so if you start a lap before the 6hr cut off you will be able to finish it and it will count towards your total
You are more than welcome to camp at the venue for free on the night before the race.
