How To Get There

By Road: Wickham is just two miles North of the M27 (junction 10) near Fareham, and is less than 10 miles from both the M3 and the A3. It is just off the A32, which links Gosport and Alton. From the A32 leave the road at Wickham with its junction with the B2177. From the South, turn left and pass under the railway bridge, from the North, turn right, and pass under the railway bridge. Take the first right into Mill Lane. In approximately 150 yards, turn right into Station Close. This is where you will find the car park and the start/finish.

By Train: The nearest rail station is Fareham, then taxi or bus from Fareham to Wickham.

By Air: Southampton Eastleigh airport is approx 10 miles away, then train from Southampton Parkway (next to the airport) to Fareham, or taxi from the airport direct to Wickham.

Free parking is available at Race HQ, and in Station Close.

Dissapointing. - Course was not 10K (5.97 miles of 6.20). My time is therefore invalid. - Results not published until 7+ days afterwards. - No direct response to my contact on 2 different platforms until 8+ days afterwards. No apology. Pretty basic boxes to tick for a running event.

10k? I think not. Dissapointed that an official '10k' actually only measured out to 5.9 miles (out of 6.2). Disheartening to those looking to beat a time or take the event some what seriously. Also the chip van had such an enormous queue it wasnt worth it after the run. Overall a good track, very friendly people, but why sign up to a 10k that isnt a legitimately 10k long? I would have thought that was the overriding factor when planning such an event.

Pretty decent. The queue for the chips at the end was so long, maybe have more than one chip van seeing as that was the premise of the event. Other than that... good

What fun. Great atmosphere, supportive friendly runners, well organised. And the fizz and chips made the challenge worth it.

Super event - very well organised Great chips. Despite the rain and wet conditions, this was a great event. Pressecco and chips were top quality! Parking was easy to find. I will definitely be signing up for next years! :-) Thank you

Great event. As always, well organised and fun. Small numbers of runners (a couple of hundred not 20,000!) makes for a nicer feel. No crowding at all. A pleasant out and back course, although my Garmin measured it at 9.57 am. Not complaining, I got my chips a little bit quicker!
