In the two years since they started, 3,500 children have taken part in the Flight Centre School Triathlons and raised £400,000 in funds for
Restless Development, an international charity that puts young people at the heart of dealing with the issues that affect them, their communities, and their countries.
This event is a fun way for children from school years 3-8 to be introduced to triathlon, with a pool swim and an off-road bike and run in a safe and secure environment within school grounds. Pupils do not need any special equipment to enter. Participating schools are encouraged to enter a range of abilities, from competitive teams to those who want to have a fun day out with friends, so that this can become a major sporting event for all levels of competitor.
This is an invitation event for schools - email [email protected]. There will be four events in 2018: Royal Russell School on 22 April 22; Bradfield College and Cranleigh School both on 13 May; Marlborough College on 20 May.
